Russian scientists believe that the stories of contacts with extraterrestrials are lucid dreams

Studies involving 152 volunteers who position themselves as lucid dreamers have shown that a person is able to cause dreams, including those involving UFOs and aliens.

114 people out of 152 volunteers were able to evoke dreams in which they came into contact with aliens from other worlds. Such a study was conducted by Russian scientists at the Moscow Center for Phase Studies. The data is provided on the portal of the International Journal of Dream Research.

Russian scientists believe that the stories of contacts with extraterrestrials are lucid dreams

Thus, the authors of the study refuted the stories about alien abductions, which were mentioned already in the 19th century. At the heart of such lucid dreams about abductions is the feeling of helplessness of a person in front of a creature from another planet.

During the experiment, 61% of the volunteers described their encounters with aliens in a dream with images from previously seen science fiction films, and 19% of the subjects saw aliens in human form.

It is noted that 26% of the study participants were able to establish contact with the aliens who" abducted " them, and 24% of the volunteers experienced strong fear in their lucid sleep.
