The classic case of using a HORN ANTENNA in a RECTANGULAR WAVEGUIDE

The use of a horn antenna in architecture

Many buildings that still remain from the 19th century should be looked at more closely. Our past contains answers to many questions, including solutions to alternative energy and data transmission.

In the photo: "Ledovnya, Neo-Gothic, late 18th, early 19th centuries. The remains of the outbuildings of the estate of Matvey Mezheyevsky".

Conspiracy

The building is covered with soil quite heavily - it's even difficult to say how many meters are hidden under the ground... but that's not the point now.

We see in front of us nothing more than a technical structure, the so-called RECTANGULAR WAVEGUIDE - the building has a rectangular profile.

We will not describe and explain the structure of a rectangular waveguide here. The main thing to note is that this device allows you to convert ultra-low-frequency vibrations of the earth into high-frequency ones, and these, in turn, into the radiation of an ELECTRIC FIELD.

A rectangular waveguide radiates only in one direction, and the other end of the waveguide is tightly closed. It turns out a cave-like structure.

A round window with a ribbed ring edging attracts attention. It is considered that this is an "architectural excess". However, this is not a decoration, but a technical device called a HORN, or a HORN ANTENNA.

A horn antenna is an expanding waveguide. It is used to ensure a smooth transition of high-frequency currents into an electric field, that is, into radiation (emission).

Conspiracy

In this case, we see not just a horn, but a CORRUGATED HORN. This technical trick allows you to increase the efficiency of the horn, due to which high-frequency currents are better transferred to the electric field.

That is, the "ice tower" is nothing but an energy station of our past infrastructure, which ceased to function in the 19th century.
