Pentagon reorganized the group for UFO research
The United States has reorganized the unit that is engaged in tracking UFOs. The new structure was named AOIMSG, which stands for "Group for Identification and Synchronization of approach to Aerial objects".
"AOIMSG will synchronize the efforts of the Ministry of Defense and other US government departments in order to detect, identify and establish the ownership of objects of interest <...>, as well as assess and mitigate any related threats to flight safety and national security," the Pentagon press service quotes TASS.
The department noted that they take UFO reports very seriously and investigate every signal about the intrusion of any flying objects.
In June, the United States published a report according to which 144 incidents occurred from November 2004 to March 2021, the exact nature of which has not yet been explained. Only about one of these objects it turned out that it was a large balloon.
After the publication of the report, the Harris Research Service conducted a study according to which almost 70% of US residents believe that the country's government is hiding information about unidentified flying objects from them.
