We said we didn't know, just wanted to make sure she could see it, too. Then the lights went out. And turned on again. It lasted about ten minutes. Then I contacted the dispatcher: "For your information, I will tell you that we have an unidentified object that is approaching and moving away from the plane."

The flight control tower at Barcelona Airport asked us to put a "transponder", which is a code for detection on the radar. The UFO continued to turn these amazing turns around us. The lieutenant colonel asked me a lot about the UFO encounter. After the incident began to leak to the press, Lieutenant
Colonel Ugarte, along with another military man, came to my house in Madrid and demanded to immediately give up "What you have and what does not belong to you." I was forced to give up the very records from the radars on which the approach of this UFO to my plane was recorded.

But it was too late and the incident went beyond secrecy, and the press eventually found out about it. To me from the magazine La Actualidad Española, and I told them everything I knew. At that time, General Lacalle was the Minister of Aviation. And he said, " No, people aren't ready for this yet. We can't tell them that"

The case became official. An investigator was assigned to the case, and the press was informed (in an official note) "that the pilots had seen the planet, Venus."
