Scientists propose banning amateur astronomers worldwide due to the risk of encountering UFOs.

Scientists propose international regulations for amateur astronomers due to the potential risk of contact with unidentified flying objects (UFOs).

I am sure that most of the inhabitants of our globe dream of meeting with an unearthly civilization. Constant news about UFO sightings only fuels this interest, especially when officially confirmed cases began to be published. But scientists believe that meeting with aliens does not bode well for us.

After a recent meeting in Congress, the US government posted publicly available documents confirming the existence of UFOs. By the way, the word "UFO" does not necessarily mean "alien space transport".

Scientists want to ban amateur astronomers internationally because of the risk of contact with UFOs

Nevertheless, scientists insist that people should wait for the first contact. Ideally, we need to wait for the moment when we catch up, or even better, surpass their technologies to avoid the risk of our destruction.

Some experts suggest that contact with extraterrestrial life may result in negative consequences for humanity. It is important to consider the potential risks associated with their advanced technology and our inability to defend ourselves. It is crucial that we approach any potential contact with caution and careful consideration.

Therefore, at the same meeting in Congress, scientists tried to convince the government to ban amateur astronomers from seeking contact with alien civilizations "you can't trust the future of our species to a bunch of amateurs."

UFO encounters

Our system is young. We have created a computer, the Internet, neural networks, and rockets. It is possible that civilizations outside the Milky Way are highly developed, but it is uncertain whether they would be friendly. It is better to develop independently than to seek contact with an advanced, mysterious civilization.

During the meeting, a proposal was made to establish global rules for first contact. However, no details were provided.
